Warfighter

To be eligible for this course you must meet the prerequisites. This means you must have taken Pistoleer and Rifleman, passing the standards for both - OR - are a current sworn peace officer in your state - OR - are active duty currently assigned to a combat unit.

If you are not in good physical condition, you will NOT get the most out of this course. We WILL welcome you but your benefit will be limited. What does this mean? Be able to run 100 yards in full gear many times throughout a day, along with being able to drag or carry a teammate/full grown adult.

Our general curriculum is as follows: (YOU CANNOT SKIP LEVELS)

LEVEL I
- Concepts of warfare & reality of combat
- Operation planning & preparation / METT-TC
- Pre combat checks & inspections
- Tactical shooting (order of engagement, PID protocol, hostage, etc.)
- Fundamentals of small unit tactics & movement
- Basic communications
- React to contact (retreat & assault)
- Low light fundamentals
- Active shooter protocol / casualty control points
- Debrief procedures & SOP

LEVEL II
- Guerilla tactics
- Insertion & extraction methods
- Basic land navigation
- Formations, patrols/mounted movement
- Reconnaissance 101 (route/area/zone) & LP/OP’s
- Ambush & counter-ambush
- Fighting at night / Infrared tech
- IED awareness / minefield detection
- Battle positions + choke/strong points
- AO security & surveillance
- Trench warfare & anti-artillery/anti-drone
- Simulated exercises / culmination

LEVEL III
- Principals of CQB (concepts, footwork, movement, etc.)
- Breaching 101 / methods of entry
- Dynamic & methodical movement
- Close combat reactionary drills / weapon retention
- Structure clearing (hallways, stairwells, intersections, etc.)
- Room clearing (center fed, corner fed, furniture, etc.)
- Individual V. team procedures
- Low/no light procedures
- Biological / chemical weapons awareness
- Civil unrest TTP’s
- Urban survival fundamentals
- Simulated operations


You will need:
- AN OPEN MIND
- Eye protection & hearing protection
- A handgun with a spare magazine in a sturdy holster
- A fighting rifle (AR-15, AK-47, FAL, M1A, or other magazine fed rifle)
- A sling
- Quality iron sights (optic is optional but strongly recommended)
- 10 spare magazines for rifle
- Method to carry magazines (plate carrier, chest rig etc.)
- 1000 rounds of quality rifle ammunition
- 100 rounds of quality handgun ammunition
- Sturdy belt
- Handheld flashlight
- Handheld UHF/VHF/other radio w/ pouch (headset preferred) (pre-programmed)
- Elbow & knee pads optional (but highly recommended)
- Backpack
- Personal medical kit “IFAK”
- Roll of duct tape
- Map of area (call for questions)
- Quality compass
- Raingear (we shoot rain or shine)
- Sturdy footwear
- Hat and/or sunscreen (optional)
- Water bottle & sack lunch (CamelBak STRONGLY recommended)
- Firearm cleaning kit & lubrication

You will be provided:
- Course syllabus
- Paper & pencil
- Mild refreshments (only in class (day 1))

After registration, you will be emailed a comprehensive document with everything you want to know about the course. Our instructors are ready for more questions if you have them. You will leave with a smoking hot rifle and a smile.
